Sea Kart (Self Drive Kart)

Seakart, an exhilarating water activity offered for the first time in India in 2020, was introduced in the Andaman by Andaman Tourism Department by private vendor Sea Kart India Pvt Ltd, Andaman is the third location for Sea Kart activity in the globe after Mauritius and Dubai.

The Seakart is a cutting-edge watercraft—hence the name—built like a go-kart that offers the best of everything in a single journey.

During the activity, participants self-drive a Seakart through a lengthy course along Port Blair’s coast with the assistance of a certified instructor.
The Seakart is designed to accommodate three people, but in contrast to jet skis and speed boats, which are only permitted close to the shorelines, the Seakart actually goes a step further and lets you explore the wave-filled deep seas far from the shoreline while driving all by yourself, making it one of the most unusual experiences to have in Port Blair.

The ide begins at Corbyn’s Cove Beach, where you are escorted by a qualified instructor. Seats are left for two people so they may enjoy it together. The rescue boat “Starfish” controls a total of six Seakarts as they go in a V configuration, maintaining order. Each Seakart features a steering wheel that allows you to maneuver the boat in whatever you desire up to a certain point. A Seakart may be driven by anyone, and it doesn’t require any prior driving or swimming experience.

Immediately after leaving the shoreline, you are met by choppy beach tides that splash on the Seakart and sprinkle on your face, giving off a feeling of refreshing. With a breathtaking perspective of the broad horizon along with a beautiful view of the roads and shoreline dotting the entire route from Corbyns Beach to Marina Park and eventually the Ross Island, you can feel the difference in waves and the tranquility of the ocean as you enter the deeper waters.

The ride travels approximately 5 to 6 kilometers from Corbyn’s Cove Beach to Flag Point at Ross Island, when it loops around and heads back. One of the longest water experiences available in the Andaman Islands, the ride lasts for almost 20 minutes.
